Farewell Figgaro

35mm0003

Today is a sad day in the Proefrock household. Due to complications with a urinary tract infection and his third bout with bladder stones, we had to make the difficult decision to put Figgaro to sleep this morning. After 11 years of the runt trying to get into our cheese dip, or announcing his presence every time he hopped on the bed, he will surely be missed. For only being 8 pounds, he sure has left a large hole in our house, family and hearts.

We are very sorry to hear that Figgy is no longer with you. We had such high hopes that he would be the one to make it to 35. Should you need to borrow a kitty to keep Stormy (stormie?) company, P-mao would love to visit her aunt and uncle and cousins.

    Thank you!
Only a visit. I’m afraid Stormey (I think that’s how we spelled it) will be the only permanent cat in the house from here on out. He may get a new canine brother sometime in the future, but feline brothers are pretty much out of the question. Sorry cat lovers.
