I use the RSS feed reader to notify me, but often visit the post in person. My reader flakes with pictures, sometimes I see them, sometimes I don’t. I’m excited that you will have your own box up and running again.

Only a visit. I’m afraid Stormey (I think that’s how we spelled it) will be the only permanent cat in the house from here on out. He may get a new canine brother sometime in the future, but feline brothers are pretty much out of the question. Sorry cat lovers.

We are very sorry to hear that Figgy is no longer with you. We had such high hopes that he would be the one to make it to 35. Should you need to borrow a kitty to keep Stormy (stormie?) company, P-mao would love to visit her aunt and uncle and cousins.

The cabinets must have been varnished once they were put up because I’ve not got some bear spots.

I was hoping to see a picture of a teddy bear or a grizzly bear or something cute and furry. I was a bit disappointed to see see an empty corner Glad to see you are having fun with the new house.

Ok-the muffins were actually cinnamon and teff flour, I have made too many muffins over the last few weeks to keep them all straight.

On the topic of breads:
The bread that we brought with us was whole wheat without cow products, I was unsure how the family would feel if I went too wacky with the flours, so I made a bread that everyone but Jason could eat. The muffins were rice flour with chocolate chips and plain spelt flour, both without cow products. We have since discovered an absolutely yummier version of the spelt that we will share when next we eat!

On the topic of poetry:
I absolutely loved the poems written just for me and the gifts Mom presented. I, however, am blushing while writing about not sharing the poem. I will simply say that the poem indicated where not to place two round kneepads on my body. :-[

On the topic of gifts:
I made 200 rounds of 38 special for Dad and the socks were a wool/acrylic blend so he could pop them in the washing machine.
